Gig'em Aggies in 2012

Things are looking tough for the Aggies in 2012 but I believe they have the ability to succeed. The SEC is all about defense and the Aggies aren't quite yet on that page. However, they now have an offensive-minded head coach in Kevin Sumlin and you can believe A&M will have a formidable attack on both the ground and in the air. With the 5th hardest schedule of the 14 SEC teams the Aggies will be looking to outscore opponents rather than shutting down their offenses. With a young quarterback protected by a veteran offensive line, Sumlin will have the opportunity to use his offensive weapons all season long. Texas A&M has the ability to be one of the most exciting offenses in the SEC and will most likely be more dangerous than most people give them credit for. The SEC West better look out because the Aggies have arrived and they are ready some action! Gig'em Aggies!

Aggies Win the Meineke Bowl

The Texas A&M Aggies have won the Meineke Car Care Bowl. MVP Ryan Tannehill threw for 329 yards and a touchdown Saturday at Reliant Stadium, leading the Aggies to a 33-22 win over Northwestern. Texas A&M dedicated the win to fired coach Mike Sherman and offensive lineman Joseph Villavisencio who ws killed in a car accident December 22. The Aggies wore helmet decals honoring him. After a long year of ups and downs the Aggies were very excited to win their first bowl game in ten years. The Aggies look forward to their first year in the SEC and also with their new head coach, Kevin Sumlin. After a disappointing regular season A&M ended the year on a high note. Now they can focus on the future and look forward to success.
